Is Point Karate Useful
Filed Under Relish Random | 1 Comment
This article will answer the question, Is point karate useful? The short answeris: No - at least not how it is currently practiced today.
The concept of point karate fighting is quite interesting. It enables a deadly fighting art to engage with other practitioners in a way which measures talent without causing the necessary damage. The problem is that current karate point fighting techniques have evolved to little more then playing tag. This is a game of only speed with a disregard to the power or effectiveness of technique.
How can the karate point system be saved? By using it exactly how it was intended to be used. Points should only be awarded for strikes which would otherwise disable the opponent. This is the purpose of a “point” which would signify a winner in an interaction and allow for a reset of the fight to determine who wins the entire karate match. In other words, a powerful punch must be stopped just before the opponents face, or a body strike must have sufficient power to cause the opponent to be momentarily stunned and defenseless.?
Only if we resurrect the legitimacy of the karate point fighting system will karate once again produce effective authentic fighters.
1. Take Up Smoking (You’ll make local friends)
2. Learn Chinese Chess (Especially for South East Asia and China)
3. Bring Good Sandals (You’ll pitch your shoes)
4. Learn Some Key Local Words (They’ll love you for it)
5. Bargain Hard (But always smile, otherwise they might get angry)?
6. Stay away from fellow foreigners (you’re not there to go to the pub)
7. Learn to ride a motorcycle before you go (its the best part of asia!)
8. Make sure you HAVE to take your malaria pills (as they’re quite harsh and usually unnecessary)
9. Pack Light (a bag similar to the size of a beach bag)
10. Do Not get involved in a travel agency (they just keep handing you off and ripping you off!)
It is a real challenge to transfer money between countries without having to pay the expensive wire fees (at least $30 each transfer). These fees can really add up, especially if you consistently transferring funds. Here is the trick I have learned to shortcut this hassle.
1. Open a Canadian Royal Bank account.
2. Open a Royal Bank Centura account (the United States Arm of Royal Bank)
3. Transfer funds between your online accounts for free!
With Royal Bank Centura, you are allowed to transfer funds between your Canadian and American accounts online for free or at least a minimal $1.50 charge. From your U.S. Royal Bank Centura account you can then e-mail transfer funds to anywhere in the United States for free. There isn’t any problem with opening a U.S. account using a Canadian address and in the end this could save you hundreds if not thousands of dollars.
Traveling In Vietnam - Adventure Guide
Filed Under Relish Random | 2 Comments
In Vietnam, Saigon is basically just a big city. One of the only places for connecting flights or transportation into Cambodia, its nothing special enough to hang around. I then went down to the Mekong Delta specifically a town called Ben Tre. The Mekong is a tropical water world definitely worth the visit. Traveling up the coast I went to Na Trang, which is a great party spot and a place to get in some diving. I dove with Rainbow divers which are probably the most professional of the dive outfits in town.
Next was Hue and Hoi An, both of which are very nice, Hoi An is on of my favorite places I’ve been so far. Old colonial french buildings beginning to dilapidated with big bank music wafting in the air and fresh seafood beside junk (boats) filled canals. Also a beach is nearby and Hoi An is the meccas for hand made clothing. I had a full tailored hand made suit made for $35! Definitely Hoi An is a must.
Next is Da Nang which is interesting for its war history, but otherwise not spectacular. Hanoi in the north is a great city. You can take a boat to the nearby coast to see the peculiar signature rock formations of Vietnam, with a tour of Cat Ba Island, all of which are quite amazing. One of the things I wish I had done is take a motorcycle trip around the north of Vietnam. Its pretty adventurous and requires some good motorcycle riding ability, but I bet it is amazing. If you don’t know how to ride a motorcycle, learn as soon as possible while your there or even before as the very best experience is taking a bike out into the open rice fields and waving to the smiling children like your a movie star.
Vietnam is a surprising easy place to travel as the their is only one route down which everyone goes. People will pick you up at your guest house and drop you off at another one. It is also not dangerous, although I was still always cautious at night.
Vietnam is a definite highlight, easy traveling and always full of adventure.
Very Popular Dog Training Manual
At first I scoffed at the notion of dog beds. Dogs are tough aren’t they? They don’t need beds like us! But then I actually paid attention to dogs that were recently given dog beds. They clearly love them. It is much more comfortable for them to lay on a soft warm surface then to always be resting on a cold hard floor.
Dog Beds are not just good, they are great. If you think about it, “wild” dogs would be laying on the ground which often times may be cold but not nearly as hard. Even the cold would often be reduced by the dogs making a sort of bed out of natural materials (usually mahogany :). So the dog beds we give them are just alleviating the artificial environment in which we force our “wild” friends to live.
Do your buddy a favor and get him a dog beds. It helps their joints when they are young thus preventing arthritis as they age. Its probably the best investment you could get for your dog as toys come and go but a bed, a bed lasts forever ![]()
Two of the top sites for Dog Beds are Petstreet or on Ebay
A Good Funny Joke About Politicians

What do Politicians and Diapers have in common?
They both get dirty and have to be changed for pretty much the same reason.
What have I learned this past week, a whole lot!
Firstly, you must get links. I joined a blogroll and instantly gained 20 links and this is exactly what you need to earn traffic and more importantly increase your google page rank of which I am now at 4/10. Join my Unique Blogroll to increase both our rankings.
Money Update From Blog:
Within the past 20 days I’ve made $15 through my google adsense. This is $15 out of $15.36 in total since December. Things are really starting to move, and money is actually being made. What excites me is exponetial growth, which once the ball start rolling it accumulates speed.
The List Of Revenue Stream Opportunities
1. Find A Good Web Hosting Company -I have used many different web hosting services, but 1and1.com have proved to outshine all the rest. They are the largest hosting company in the world enabling them to offer services that others cannot.
They are the cheapest web hosting company, as low as $2.50, and they have great features to get you started like a Search Engine Optimization program which dramatically improves your search engine traffic. This has been a huge factor in developing my blog. Also they make it easy to get free advertising and they have a 250 page e-book
to get you going.
I highly suggest you look into 1and1.com
2. List of Big Name Advertising Companys
This is a list of all of the big name advertising company’s you can
use to develop some revenue from your site. I suggest signing up with
all of them, as some may or may not accept your blog or website
immediately, but will continually review your site for later
acceptance.
A. Adsense -The king of targeted web site advertising payed on a cost
per click basis
B. Text Link Ads - I have just joined Text Link Ads which appears to be a very good program. The adds are only subtle links on your website, and you are paid a monthly fee for having them on your site, regardless of the number of clicks they receive. You can sell up to 8 ads which for me would earn between $40-$100 per month. That is guaranteed consistant income which is fantastic. Join Text Link Ads Here.
C. Chikta - Has mini product malls as well as “clouds” which are
another text advertising which is compatible with adsense and pays on
a cost per click basis.
D. Ad Brite - Manages your advertising much like google adsense, but
it is allowed on the same page as long as you do not show network ads
which mimic googles adsense.
What made me dance was the sale of an e-book through Clickbank which earned me $21.00! That is more then my entire month of adsense. Clickbank deals purely in digital delivery products, but on the internet that is much easier then trying to sell a product. I contacted the lady who purchased the book, and she was very pleased with it making me feel quite good.

It may seem like a joke, but its even better cause its true. My friend was telling me a story about her sister who was dog sitting at her neighbors when the dog died. She called the family and they apologized and said that it was fine as the dog was elderly anyway. They asked if she could take the dog to the shelter to be disposed of and glad to be off the hot seat her sister gratefully agreed.
Firstly, she didn’t have anything to transport the dog in, so she just stuffed it into a large duffel bag. She also didn’t want to pay $50 each way for a taxi so she decided on the bus. As she got onto the bus, a man started casually talking to her.
Asking, “where are going with such a large heavy bag?”
“Oh, on vacation.”
“Really, where?”
“Oh, the Bahamas.”
“So what are you bringing with you to make that bag so heavy?”
“Oh, just my laptop and Ipod and the other goodies we can’t live without”
The bus stopped and my friends sister got off the bus towards the animal shelter, when: the man on the bus ran up behind her,
hit her on the back of the head,
and stole her bag with of course nothing in it but a dead old dog!

This is a hilarious comedy video it takes a few seconds to warm up. The poor family of this guy, or maybe I should say the lucky. They must all have abs of steel. If they played his laugh in the through the world, it would be a better, safer place. A world helpless to move, paralyzed by laughter.
SAT And MCAT Test Prep Tips and Tricks Free and Unbeatable

An S.A.T. Tips and Tricks Manual(download)
1.Work Backwards!
In the SAT or MCAT Math Section work from the back of the questions to the front. The questions are arranged in increasing difficulty. This has a very impactful psychological impact on the test writer as each SAT or MCAT test question becomes more and more time consuming and strenuous to answer, wearing down the test taker. Instead, doing the questions in reverse allows you to gather momentum as you know the next question will be easier.
2. Don’t be fooled!
The MCAT or SAT drawings are actually drawn to scale (inspite of the disclaimer saying otherwise). The drawings can have all of the typical geometrical laws applied to them. Use your pencil or piece of paper and use real geometry!
3. Do not think!
In the MCAT or SAT Writing Section do not be fancy! Unfortunately you have to just give them what they want. That means the banal old thesis, anti-thesis, synthesis. It is pathetic, but it works.
4. To Answer or Not?
If you can eliminate at least one of the SAT or MCAT multiple choice questions then the odds say answer, but if you cannot, don’t randomly guess out of the original five possibilities.
5. Try!
It’s silly to say, but really really try. Put all of you mental effort into writing the test and this will be one of the single best things you can do to improve your score.
This series is going to be in the true spirit of “web”logging. It will be a resource for new bloggers trying to figure out how to make money from their blog.
The summation of the past month: slow yet steady increases of traffic, but mostly due to my own work in posting articles to Digg or Netscape. I am beginning to see natural search traffic coming too, but I’m at a plateau: I need to figure out how to continue traffic growth, particularily through other blogs. My current thought on that solution is to use blogrolling as a means to establish links in, so if you want to get on my blogroll just click here. This should increase my natural searchs in google.
With about 50 people a day I am generating about 75 cents a day. Thats pretty good, and its all due to a little trick which I will reveal in through another campaign hopefully coming soon which is an e-mail newsletter with blog updates. This 75 cents a day is purely through adsense. When Steve Pavlina put adsense on his website he was averaging over 2500 people per day to his site while only making $4 per day. You can see that if I had that kind of traffic I would be making about $40, so I’m pleased with my ad strategy I just need to now develope the traffic.
Any readers with any tips?
Current Blog Income: $9.63, but $7.85 of that was made in the last seven days (versus the pervious 30) so my little trick is quite effective.

An elderly couple is sitting behind the bus coach driver. They quitely hand him a handful of peanuts which he gratefully accepts. Again shortly after they hand him more peanuts, and then again even more peanuts.
Finally, the bus driver turns around and asks, “Why do you keep giving me peanuts?”
“Oh, we can’t actually chew peanuts because we don’t have any teeth.”
“Then why do you buy peanuts?” asked the bus driver.
“We just like the chocolate.”
“How To Shave For Men” Tips and Tricks Straight From the Streets of Bombay
Filed Under Relish Random | Leave a Comment

These how to shave tricks come straight from the streets of India during my travelling there this past summer. It took going all the way to India to truly learn how to shave properly in a way which eliminates razor bumps and irritation.
1. Always shave after having a shower.
In India they thoroughly rub down your face before ever applying shaving cream. while in the shower make sure you rub your face vigorously as this will soften the skin allowing a smoother shave.
2. Really rub in the shaving cream. DON’T just apply SUPERFICIALLY.
In a similar manner to the shower, make sure that you thoroughly rub the shaving cream into our skin. This was my mistake as I always just applied the cream quickly without working it in. It is the rubbing which softens the hairs and eliminates irritation.
3. Stretch the skin as you shave.
This is very important as it reduces the concentration of hairs the razor encounters.
4. Use only long light strokes.
Instead of using repetitive small stokes with your shaving razor, use long stokes with only light downward pressure on the razor. Do not use heavy pressure as this will cause irritation.
5. Rinse your face with cold water.
The cold water serves to close your sensitive pores.

A surprise for many who take out a mortgage are the fees which are sprung upon them once the mortgage process has begun. This can add significantly to the cost of the mortgage and in some cases should discourage the borrower from taking a mortgage. Here are some hidden mortgage fees which may quickly add up, especially on a low sum mortgage.
Brokerage fees - Be careful as brokers are usually payed by the lender, but they will attempt to receive more money by charging the borrower as well. Always make sure you bargain as they my charge you $500 on top of their hefty fee from the lender.
Appraisal fees - Your property will have to be appraised which will cost between $300-400.
Lawyer Fees - These can be well over a $1000 depending upon the deal. Ensure before signing the mortgage that you recieve an exact quote on your mortgage lawyers fees, otherwise you might be very surprised.
Title Insurance - The lender once again charges the borrower the insurance fees for a faulty mortgage.
Mortgage Exit Fee - This can be 3 months of mortgage interest, the purpose is to keep you in the mortgage for the full duration.
As you might gather, these hidden mortgage fees can be quite unsettling and surprising. Make sure you do your research and ask very specific questions. Learn about all of the fees involved in your mortgage before coming to your final decision as it may turn out to be unviable.
Mesothelioma Lawyers Target Mesothelioma as it is caused by asbestos
Filed Under Relish Random | 2 Comments
Mesothelioma is one of the most classic and lucrative cases for a lawyer to pursue. The disease is a kind of cancer that is caused almost exclusively by exposure to the classic insulating material asbestos which causes malignant cells to develop throughout the bodies internal organ lining. Symptoms do not develope until 20 to 50 years after exposure. Often the malignant cells develop within the lungs, the abdominal cavity, and the tissue surrounding the heart. Each of these areas can produce specific and separate symptoms.
The treatment of mesothelioma can be rather difficult. Often lawyers are used to garner a considerable settlement for the families involved as the mesothelioma is a direct result of the negligent use of a man made product. Mesothelioma is an unfortunate disease which while currently rising in occurance (due to the lag time after exposure) it will eventually be overcome as asbestos has aggressively been removed from all buildings. It is very important to check older buildings for asbestos and have it immediately removed professionally.
Prominant poeple who have suffered from mesothelioma include: Michael G. Coney, Steve McQueen, Warren Zevon, and Stephen Jay Gould.
