Bodybuilders Suffer From Acne Because of Anabolic Steroids:

Bodybuilders usually use some form of anabolic steroids to help themselves develop a body. It helps them increase their muscle mass and strength. However while anabolic steroids is good on their body, it is not good for their skin.

 

This is because it is has been found that the inappropriate sue of anabolic steroids leads to acne with the stimulation of sebaceous glands. And this stimulation of sebaceous glands leads to the development of acne.

 

This is because the sebaceous glands that are found on the skin secrete substances that reach the hair follicles and to most of the body surface.

 

Basically, anabolic steroids are used for treating any swelling on the face that is due to some allergy. It is also sue for treating unwanted weight loss in patients suffering from HIV.

 

However it is when these bodybuilders take more than ten times the required dosage than is prescribed for legitimate reasons. And this is what induces acne in their bodies.

 

This is something that is existing in most fitness studios. And when asked, most participants of the studios admit to taking these anabolic steroids at least once. If a bodybuilder does suffer from an acne attack because of taking anabolic steroids, it is advised to discontinue taking these steroids for some time for relief from acne.
