With a snazzy website that is user-friendly and smart looking, Murad easily catches the attention of people looking to research cures for skin conditions. Their approach to skin care, specifically acne, is touted as an “inclusive health philosophy.” But, does Murad live up to the bells and whistles of a pretty web page?
First, beyond the web page, Murad offers spas and stores where customers can go for more personalized skin care advice. There appear to be a decent number of salons and spas that offer Murad, which gives this treatment plan a definite advantage. It is one thing to find acne cures online and another to be able to try the products first. Along with their trained sales people, Murad’s web site offers a myriad of information on acne, its causes, and ways to tone down break outs. The site is concise, user friendly, and well-researched. While Murad has a definite disadvantage in that users must buy the system on a monthly basis (around $29.95), the system not only deals topically with break-outs to lessen their appearance, but also deals with the internal causes of acne through internal supplements.
Murad’s inclusive health philosophy makes certain that people with acne receive the necessary skin care and that people with symptoms that mimic acne are treated as well. Natural essential oils do make up about two thirds of the skin care product ingredients, but that last one third is made up of chemicals that could, on some people, increase inflammation.
All in all, Murad does seem to offer a decent product line both in internal treatment options and research, with the numerous opportunities for personal consultations giving it a decided edge. However, once again, Murad’s products are not all natural and require monthly purchases, definite downsides to this treatment program.
