Acne is a skin condition that can occur on any part of the body. Acne attacks are however more prevalent on the face, neck, back and chest. It is usually when sweat gets trapped between the night clothes and the skin that you find an acne attack on your skin.
In addition to this, wearing close fitting warm weather fashions also tend to trap sweat and in the process, produce even worse acne breakouts.
Not only clothes, the normal friction that you create while sleeping and the back rubbing on the sheets can lead to acne attacks.
This is the reason that thousands of people tend to suffer from chest acne at least once in their lives. These acne attacks can attack both adults and teenagers.
Though chest acne is usually hidden under clothing, it can cause discomfort and irritation to the sufferer.
This is because the chest areas is constantly irritated by necklaces. This, with perspiration leads to the formation of more skin oils. This in turn leads to dead skin cells which can only worsen the acne problem.
So if you suffer from chest acne, you not only have to treat yourself with some local over the counter acne product and avoid wearing synthetic clothes.
Instead wear more of cotton clothes as it helps in absorption of perspiration and thus prevents the spread of acne.
Avoid wearing heavy jewelry or necklaces for a few days and be careful when sleeping. Avoid rubbing too much on the acne as the more it is rubbed, the more aggravated acne gets.
