The Effectiveness Of Using Castor Oil In Acne Cleansing:

Everyone wishes to have a blemish free complexion; however this is not a possibility for everyone. There are many remedies that prove to give a good complexion; however one of the most surprising remedies that prove to control acne is the use of castor oil.

 

To many, thinking of using an oil to combat acne seems to be something unthinkable. However it is based on the fact that an oil is required to dissolve an oil that castor oil is suggested for treating acne.

 

Remember that oil alone is not a trigger for acne and pimples. Hormones, bacteria and dead skin cells also cause acne.

 

The concept used here is that the oil is used to massage your skin, and dissolve the hardened oil that has stuck to your pores as acne. The steam opens your pores and makes removal of oil easy. You don’t only use castor oil for this treatment as two oils are required here.

 

The first oil used is castor oil that is easily available in the grocer, drugstore or online. Its is because castor oil has magical healing properties that it is effective in controlling acne.

 

You have to use only a little of castor oil as too much of it only leaves you with dry skin. It is because it is a thick oil that a second thinner oil like sunflower seed oil or extra virgin olive oil has to be used to dilute the oil.

 

Both oils are great for skin application; but it is castor oil that gets transported deeper into the pores to draw dirt and grime from the skin to the surface, so that it can be wiped away.

 

In addition to this, the essential fatty acids you find in the oil help maintain the health of your cell membranes and thus restore the natural moisture balance of your skin.

 

It is always better to choose a natural and cold-pressed vegetable oil as the second oil as it has additional nutrients, vitamins and fatty acids that are useful for your skin.
